Casting Workshop Info

What to expect:

Prior to the course we send the casting directors all the actors contact emails and Spotlight Links.

Workshops are 2.5 hours long and include a 'Networking' Tea Break.
The workshops do vary but generally;
-The Casting Director will start by introducing themselves and talking a bit about their casting experience.
-They will then hand out scripts to work on in pairs or seporately - scripts will be from theatre, film, TV or commercials and are often material that has been used in a castings or is currently casting.
- Some weeks casting directors send out scripts a day or so before the session so actors can prepare there scenes
-Actors then show their scenes to the group, get feedback from the casting director and try the scene again.
- Some weeks the actors scenes will be filmed and the takes posted into the Members area of the site, so you can watch yourself back and see what you do! (The members area is protected by a password, that only the actors on the current courses have)
-There is also a chance for a Q&A at the end of the session.

- The half hour Tea Break is a chance to get to know those in your group and chat informally with them and the casting director.
- As someone on the course you get access to the Members Area, which has casting director contacts, Top Tips, Noticeboard etc

Workshops are run in short courses - afternoons or evenings- 2.5hrs per week for 6 weeks. Each week is run by a different casting director.

Cost for FuseLondon Workshops

£170 for a 6 week course comprising of one session per week.

Once you have attended a 6 week course you may attend drop-ins @ £35 per drop in.
